UNDERSTANDING VISION THERAPY

Improving How Your Eyes Work Together

Vision therapy focuses on how your eyes and brain work as a team. Even if your vision is 20/20, issues with coordination, tracking, or focusing can still lead to symptoms like eye strain, headaches, or difficulty concentrating.

Through a series of guided exercises and activities, vision therapy helps improve these skills. The goal is to make everyday visual tasks feel more comfortable, whether that’s reading, working on a computer, or staying focused throughout the day. Each program is built around your specific needs, so your care stays personalized and focused on real progress.

Our Approach to Vision Therapy

Vision therapy is a process that builds over time, with each step designed to support your progress. We begin with a sensorimotor exam. This evaluation helps us understand your visual strengths and identify areas that may need support.

From there, we develop a personalized therapy plan based on your needs. Sessions are guided one-on-one and focus on improving skills through structured activities. As you continue through your program, we monitor your progress and adjust your plan as needed.
