Dr. Peter B. Tacia, O.D.

Dr. Peter Tacia earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Michigan State University in 1985 before going on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1989.

Dr. Tacia provides comprehensive eye care with training in the management of diabetic eye disease, glaucoma monitoring, pediatric eye care, and contact lens fittings. He has many years of experience helping patients maintain healthy vision and identifying eye health concerns early.

Dr. Tacia is a member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Tacia serves as president of the Alma Library Board and is active with the Gratiot County Players as both an actor and volunteer. He enjoys reading, running, and biking. Dr. Tacia and his wife, Vicki, have been married for more than 25 years and have two children.
