Dr. Garrett Whitmore, O.D.

Dr. Garrett Whitmore is a graduate of Alma High School and attended Alma College, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Science. He later earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, graduating with honors.

Dr. Whitmore practices full-scope optometry and has experience caring for patients of all ages. His training includes pediatrics, geriatrics, contact lens care, and the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, including diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts.

He is a member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Whitmore enjoys volunteering with his church, cycling, hunting, and fishing. He and his wife, Andi, enjoy spending time with their children, Cole, Mack, Carson, and Rori.
